Announcement!!!
FOY is pleased to announce our newest Board member, Jeff Gruarin. Jeff is currently the Recreation Director for the Village of Youngstown, and received the Coaches Honor Roll Award from Project Play WNY in 2024 for his dedicated work and support of youth development in the region. In addition to his efforts to grow and revitalize youth recreation programming, Jeff runs a successful lawn care business, and works for the Village of Lewiston. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey and spending time with his wife Krista and two sons, Shay and Nolan.

Christine Rath
Christine is the founder of Friends of Youngstown along with serving on the Board of Directors and running the daily operations of the nonprofit.
Born and raised in Youngstown and presently resides in the Village of Youngstown with her son Logan.

Christine holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Wayne State University.
​
Christine has retired after 32 years working in quality, engineering, manufacturing & service in the automotive, commercial, & aerospace/military industries.
Sean Mackenzie
Sean serves on the Board of Directors of FOY and provides legal guidance to the nonprofit.
​
Resides in Youngstown.
​
Sean holds a Juris Doctorate and Master's of Business, Commercial & Business Law from Buffalo State University and a Bachelor's in Business Management/Psychology from SUNY Fredonia.
​
Sean is presently a Partner at Magavern, Magavern Grimm LLP.
Heidi Reisman
Heidi serves on the Board of Directors of FOY and provides organizational support to the nonprofit.
​
Resides in the Village of Youngstown.
​
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
Heidi is presently the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at 3M.

Shana
dicamillo
Shana serves on the Board of Directors of FOY and provides overall non-profit experience in fundraising, grant writing and overall communications.
​
Resides in Lewiston with her husband Matthew and son Benjamin.
​
Shana holds a Master of Public Affairs and a Master of Music from UNC Greensboro, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia.
​
She is presently the Director of Advancement for UB Libraries.
